Male Menopause
Male menopause is a controversial subject because some say it doesn’t exist and others do. It is also referred to as andropause. The term is meant to say that men also undergo hormone changes just as women do and some of the symptoms are exactly the same. This is largely due to testosterone decline as a male ages. Testosterone decline is also associated with diseases such as diabetes. The male menopause symptoms that are experienced are fatigue, depression, loss of sex drive, and depression. These are also symptoms that women experience during menopause. There are treatments for low testosterone, both synthetic and natural.
