High Testosterone Means High Income

New research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science indicates that people with high testosterone earn higher than average incomes. Wow, that’s gotta really heart the women’s lib gals! But the science is what it is. Males in London were studied buy testing their hormone levels on eight consecutive trading days on the exchange. They were tested at the beginning of the work day and again at the end. Those who had higher levels of testosterone earned higher incomes.
The study concluded that the men with higher male hormone levels had a higher level of confidence and were able to handle risks better. The research group also tested for levels of the stress hormone cortisol and noted that high volatility days produced spikes in the level. the researchers went on to conclude that measuring the hormones such as testosterone and cortisol could predict the traders that would preform best at their positions.
